Will a time travel theme hurt the chances of a novel being published?

I want to write a young adult novel of science fiction and I have an idea about the race of time. It 's somewhat different and as the race time is usually described in the novel. In fact, it 's the idea almost satirical. But I 'm that question whether the travel time is now equally cliché to be introduced?
